ABC House

For more info about the ABC program in Darien, the girls currently at DHS, and the national program:

Doug Anderson and Susan Littlefield, Presidents of A Better Chance (ABC) in Darien, present this year’s rent payment to Rev. Larry Wood, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Darien. Darien’s A Better Chance program was started in the fall of 1981. Six students along with resident directors live in town at 11 Brookside Road . The house is owned by the First Congregational Church and is leased to ABC for $1 a year. The students attend Darien High School. As part of FCC’s May 4 service, ABC in Darien and FCC signed a new lease.
