Step Up For A New Day |

Dear Member,
In the mail this week you will receive the pledge packet for the 2012 pledge campaign. This year we are also emailing the packets, since last year many members expressed a preference for email.
The theme of the campaign is Step Up For a New Day. As you'll read in the pledge packet, we are asking members to Step Up to help eliminate our deficit and provide our new settled minister a church with solid financial footing.
We would like to draw your attention to an important and exciting part of this year's campaign. A group of donors has pledged an additional $50,000 that will match new or increased pledges over last year that are made prior to the end of this December. In this way we are hoping people Step Up and increase their giving over last year, doing so in a timely manner that allows us to accurately budget the church for 2012.
To pledge, you can fill out and mail in either the response card from the link above, or the personalized one in the packet that was sent to you via regular mail.
To make things even easier, you can email your pledge to our special email address, pledges@uccdarien.org, by simply replying to this message and providing the appropriate information. Pledges sent in this way are completely confidential, as are the mailed-in cards.
